How I went from writing native Android apps to failing a startup, and discovering my real coding capabilities.
The Android Career
I decided to build Android applications as my career. I studied hard, fell in love with Kotlin, and landed a job. Building mobile apps and seeing them run on real phones was amazing. Life was good and I was writing mobile code all day.
The SaaS Fail & Pivot
I resigned from my job to build my own things. I built my own SaaS product—and it failed. It was an emotional ride, but that failure forced me to shift directly to web technologies. The SaaS died, but it taught me full-stack web development and backend programming.
System Architecture & Power
Now, I focus on backends and designing system architecture—because layout is more crucial than just writing code. Python is the absolute king. I host my own bots and tools on my own VPS servers and query Supabase. Frontend? React is easy, and with AI, I build interfaces quickly so I can focus my energy on systems.

Android App for Visually Impaired
An innovative AI-powered Android application built using Kotlin and Jetpack Compose to assist visually impaired individuals in navigating their environment. The app uses the phone camera and advanced AI integration to provide real-time audio guidance and support, enabling safer and more independent mobility.
- Navigation Mode: Real-time environmental feedback and path finding using camera feed.
- Assistant Mode: Double-tap activation to ask questions about surroundings (e.g., object colors, text descriptions, weather).
- Reading Mode: Instant audio transcription of books, signs, and documents.
Trading Backtester
Algorithmic Backtesting Platform
A professional backtesting web application allowing traders to simulate historical performance across 3 distinct trading strategies. The platform interacts with the Alpaca API to fetch historical market data, executes high-efficiency backtests, and stores monthly reporting metrics in Supabase.
- Interactive Configurations: Customize strategy filters and criteria for backtesting.
- Supabase Persistence: Processes and saves detailed, structured monthly performance metrics.
- Self-Hosted Infrastructure: Deployed autonomously on a Virtual Private Server (VPS) utilizing Caprover.
Live Trading Bot
Automated Live Execution System
An advanced, background-running automated trading bot. Operating as a continuous service, the system fetches S&P 500 stocks from Alpaca and crypto coin prices from Kraken, runs configured rule strategies in real-time, executes orders, and records metrics to a shared Supabase database.
- Multi-Exchange System: Concurrent API integration with Alpaca and Kraken.
- Continuous Execution: Python-backed automation designed to run reliably in the background.
